On Sunday of this week, the Jordanian military spokesman informed that Jordan asked the Americans to place Patriot type air defense batteries on its territory. According to unofficial reports, the batteries may have already been deployed in the area.
Arab media also report that the Principality of Oman has also requested the deployment of American Patriot batteries on its territory.
