The Lebanese Minister of Energy sent an official letter to the French energy company Total demanding to receive the final report regarding the findings of the gas drilling they carried out in the Qana field to check if it is possible to extract gas from it.
A few months ago, it was reported in the Lebanese media that no signs of gas were found, but the Total company postponed to an unknown date the final report on the matter.
