The “flag ambush” is what the Palestinian channels call a bomb that exploded near the village of Al-Ma’ir in the Ramallah district on an Israeli citizen who was trying to remove a booby-trapped flag this morning.

According to Israeli media, the citizen was very lightly injured and refuses to go to the hospital.

The phrase “flag ambush” is taken from another incident in the Gaza Strip – on February 17, 2018, four IDF soldiers were injured when they tried to remove a booby-trapped flag from the perimeter fence in the Khan Yunis area in the south of the Gaza Strip, an attack for which the resistance faction in Gaza claimed responsibility.
