Journalist sources in Lebanon state that Hezbollah and the Amal movement discussed the French proposal and decided not to reject it (so as not to be perceived as refusers – AA) but to submit 10 comments to amend the proposal.
The comments will be forwarded to the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament (who happens to also be the head of the Amal Shiite movement fighting alongside Hezbollah in southern Lebanon – Israel) and he will discuss them with Prime Minister Mikati and forward them to the French side.
