An interesting report from the southern part of the Strip: Unofficial Gazan sources report an intriguing incident that occurred in the past few hours in the “Al-Aklimi” neighborhood, located in the Muatsi, near the sea, on the border between northern Rafah and southern Khan Yunis (not far from one of the food distribution centers).
According to these sources, armed forces of Yasser Abu Shabab, from the Tarabin tribe, raided a tent near “Fatouh Farm,” fired shots in the air, and kidnapped several people who, according to some sources, are members of Hamas’s Sahem Unit.
It was also reported that Abu Shabab’s men took phones and laptops from the tent and left the area. Some Gazan social media users claimed that these were actually “Israeli undercover operatives”—while others noted that it’s now impossible to tell the difference…
##
The area where the incident is said to have occurred is interesting—it is close to the area of operations of both Abu Shabab and the IDF, and it is a region where Hamas is trying to exploit the situation to disrupt the food distribution efforts of the American foundation GHF, using members of the Sahem Unit. None of these claims have been verified.
