Unofficial Lebanese sources report 6 dead – four of them from the Lebanese Army’s Fifth Brigade and two from the Engineering Regiment – and at least 12 wounded among Lebanese Army soldiers following an “ammunition explosion” in the village of Majdal Zoun in southern Lebanon. Hezbollah-affiliated channels claim that these were unexploded ordnance dropped by Israel. It is also possible that the incident involved Hezbollah’s own weaponry.
