Following up on what I wrote here 👆 about the American-controlled corridor that is supposed to be established as a result of the peace agreement signed last night between Azerbaijan and Armenia in Washington, Ali Akbar Velayati, senior advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader, declared in a television interview that Iran will prevent the establishment of the corridor, whether or not Russia assists.
Velayati warned the Americans that the corridor would become a graveyard for their mercenaries and that Iran would not allow NATO to come between it and Russia. Velayati added that the corridor would threaten the security of Iran and the region and would create a geopolitical shift.

This is an interesting clash between the US and Iran; this time, Israel is not a main player in the confrontation.
