A new wave of protests has begun in several cities in Lorestan Province, as well as in the cities of Mashhad, Rasht, Tehran, and Karaj, alongside funerals for those killed whose bodies were recently returned. The “thirty-day” memorial ceremonies for the dead are, in most cases, the peak point of the protests.
Numerous reports indicate an expansion of calls for demonstrations against the regime during nighttime hours.
Strikes continue in many areas.
Some markets, including the Rasht city market, have been set on fire and destroyed. Eyewitnesses report that the regime’s suppression forces set fire to the Rasht market to block escape routes for the protesters, and then opened fire on the citizens.
The energy crisis continues: water and electricity supply in certain areas is being intermittently cut off.
The lack of internet access is also causing disruptions in the operations of government offices and more.
In many cities, the atmosphere is divided into before and after 17:00. From this hour onward, the situation resembles martial law.
In Tehran and Qazvin, there are reports of frequent flights by IRGC reconnaissance UAVs (the regime is using military UAVs to suppress the riots – AA).
The health condition and estimated number of detainees are unclear, but their prosecution is usually conducted quickly. In some cases, only a week has passed between arrest and prosecution.
