How Arab media quotes Israeli media, or “a game of telephone”

Israeli reporter Jacky Hugi, from the Israeli Army Radio “Galatz”: “There are reports in Rafah, aircraft attacked targets in Sinai…” (somewhat bizzare phrasing, but the reporter likely meant that he was basing his report on Palestinian sources in Rafah – Abu Ali)

Now, let’s examine the following:

Merely three minutes later, the UK-Emirati “Sky News” network (with over four million followers) publishes the following report: “Israeli army spokesperson: Attacks are ongoing in the Sinai border area.”

After that report, the Jordanian al-Haqiqa al-Dawliya followed suit, even adding a picture of an aircraft firing missiles: “Galatz, from Egyptian sources: The Israeli Air Force is attacking positions in Sinai.”

Arab media think that Galatz and the IDF spokesperson are the same.
