Now, if you wanted a “respectable” translation, I would write: “dirt at your feet”.
But…. if you want a translation that is a little more faithful to the original, and a little less respectable, then it’s like this:
“Go atone for your shoes…”
To hang it on the building where Saleh al-Arouri was killed is a bit of a finger in the eye for Hamas and the Palestinians. You probably remember the meaning of the shoe (impurity) for Muslims…
