Israel reportedly attacks military targets in the Damascus area

The official Syrian news agency reported this morning on an Israeli attack in the Damascus area. According to the Syrian report, at 01:05 AM (local time), an airstrike was conducted from the Golan Heights towards southwest Damascus, resulting in the injury of a Syrian soldier and property damage.

Sources associated with the Syrian opposition report that two targets were attacked, the first being near Damascus International Airport. Hours before the attack, an Iranian cargo plane belonging to Mahan Air reportedly landed at Damascus International Airport. This airline is known for assisting the IRGC in transporting weapons and ammunition.

The second site targeted last night is located within the headquarters of the Syrian Army’s First Division in al-Kiswah (south of Damascus), known as a stronghold of pro-Iranian Shiite militias.

The attached photos document the attack on one of the targeted sites.
