Lebanese Journalist Radwan Aqil: Palestinian Refugee Camps in Lebanon are no Longer Palestinian

In an interview with the al-Jadid Network, the Lebanese journalist stated that, according to an official Lebanese study, the Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon are no longer predominantly Palestinian, with Palestinians constituting just 65% of the population.

He pointed out that the residents of these “camps” now include Syrians, Jordanians, and Lebanese, and the Palestinian presence is steadily diminishing.

Aqil cited the example of the “Palestinian refugee camp” in Burj al-Burjina, located in Beirut’s Dahiya neighborhood, where Palestinians make up only 44% of the population.
