The Muslim world is outraged as a Swedish court permits Salwan Momika, an Iraqi immigrant, to deface the Quran during a public demonstration.
Momika carried out this act near a mosque in Stockholm on the first day of Eid al-Adha, “The Feast of The Sacrifice”. He tore up the Quran, set it on fire, and even placed ham inside it.
Previously, Momika expressed his intention to advocate for a worldwide ban on the distribution of the Quran.
Following this act, the authorities in Stockholm faced widespread condemnation in the Arab world.
