Teqoa, West Bank: Israeli father and two of his children injured in shooting attack; IDF arrest shooter in nearby Bethlehem

The 37-year-old father was seriously injured but is now in stable condition. His daughters, 14 and 9, who were with him in the car, were lightly injured from shrapnel.

IDF forces located the shooter, who was hiding inside the al-Rabat mosque in Bethlehem. Five people were injured in the ensuing clashes, three were arrested, among them the shooter.

Palestinian media outlets named the terrorist as Amar al-Najar, a 26-year-old released prisoner and Hamas operative from Hebron.

Minutes before the attack, he posted a picture on social media showing a masked militant with the Hamas military logo, and the caption: “There are still those waiting.”
