The Lebanese Army, in response to the warnings released by Saudi Arabia and Kuwait yesterday, has declared that the “rumors regarding the alleged plan of the Lebanese Army to conduct a military operation within the Ein al-Khileh refugee camp are unfounded.”

Lebanon’s Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, is also actively engaged in efforts to quell the recent surge of rumors, asserting, “The security situation does not warrant concern or panic.”

Meanwhile, the German embassy in Lebanon has cautioned its citizens to avoid areas of conflict in the country.
