Last night, IDF forces carried out the most extensive arrest activity in the West Bank since the beginning of the month of Ramadan.
According to Palestinian sources, the IDF operated in the following cities: Tulkarm, Nablus, Jenin, Ramallah, Bethlehem and Jericho.
In the village of Zabadeh in the Jenin district, Mahdi a-Sharqawi, Abu Hareth, a senior member of the Islamic Jihad, was arrested.
In Aqbat Jabr near Jericho, two Fatah operatives were arrested: Ahmed Wahdan and Ahmed Jihad.
During their arrest, 17-year-old Hamas operative Jibril Kamel el-Ladaa was killed, and six others were injured, three of them in serious condition (they were transferred to Ramallah for treatment).
